Z: 2023년 12월에 전국 최초로 ‘생태계서비스지불제 계약 운영 및 관리에 관한 조례’를 제정한 바 있다. 그리고 생태계서비스를 유지하고 증진하고자 활동하는 지역주민과 토지주들에게 경제적 보상을 지원해 왔다.

Z: 물류관리시스템 솔루션 기업과 스킨케어 브랜드 기업이 2년동안 1200만원의 자금과 물품을 제주의 서호마을에 지원하고 임직원들이 직접 생태계 서비스 증진활동에 동참하는 내용으로 협약을 체결했다.
A: 기업이 자금과 물품을 생태계서비스에 지불하고, 환경보전활동에도 직접 참여하는 것이군요.
Z: 제주도청은 이번 협약을 계기로 기업의 EGS 경영 실천과 지역공동체 협력을 통해서 자연자산 가치와 환경적 책임을 구현하는 모델로 발전시켜 나갈 계획이다.
