A: 이를 위해 신재생에너지와 전기차사용, 그 외 여러 가지 탄소중립 정책들을 펼치고 있다.

Z: 그중 RE100(재생에너지 100%)달성도 여러 가지 전략 중 하나이다.
최근 제주지역에서 한시적으로 RE100(재생에너지 100%)을 달성하였다.

Recently, RE100 (100% renewable energy) was temporarily achieved in Jeju.

A: 4시간동안의 경제적 가치가 1억 2천만원이면 시간당 약3천만원의 경제적 가치를 창출한 것이네요.
If the economic value for 4 hours is 120 million won, it created an economic value of about 30 million won per hour.
Z: 2025년 4월 14일 제주에서 4시간 동안 도내 전력수요를 100% 재생에너지로 충당했다.
그리고 남은 전기는 해저연계선으로 육지부로 송전하는데 성공한 것이다.
On April 14, 2025, Jeju met its electricity demand in the province with 100% renewable energy for 4 hours.
And the remaining electricity was successfully transmitted to the land by a submarine link.
A: 남은 잉여전력은 어느 정도였나요? How much surplus power was left?
Z: 621메가와트였다. 이번 4시간의 RE100은 2070가구의 한달 평균 전력 사용량인 300킬로와트에 해당한다. 주택용 전기요금으로 환산하면 약 1억 2천만원의 가치이다.
전기차 12,420대를 충전할 수 있는 양이다.
It was 621 megawatts. This four-hour RE100 is equivalent to 300 kilowatts, the average monthly power usage of 2070 households. It is worth about 120 million won in terms of electricity bills for housing. This is enough to charge 12,420 electric cars.

Z: 제주가 달성한 RE100와 이에 따른 잉여전력 역송전은 매우 의미가 크다.
제주는 실시간 전력 거래와 가상발전소를 통한 분산형 전력망 운영이 가능한 최적지임을 다시한번 입증한 셈이다.
RE100 achieved by Jeju and the resulting surplus power reverse transmission are very significant.
Jeju proved once again that it is the best place to operate a distributed power grid through real-time power transactions and virtual power plants.
