Z: 제주도교육청이 2025년 제주환경공동체 구현을 위해 생태환경교육을 전개해 나갈 계획이다.

기본계획은 도내의 모든 학교와 교육기관에서 기후위기 대응 교육을 강화한다.
그리고 학생들의 환경 문제 인식을 높여서 지속 가능한 미래를 위한 변화를 이끌어내는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.

그리고 학생들이 실천하는 생태교육을 내실화하고, 교육공동체 협력을 강화하면서 생태환경교육 지원도 체계화한다.

학생들의 탄소중립과 관련한 프로그램도 운영되나요?

Are programs related to carbon neutrality for students also in operation?
Z: 교육과정과 연계해서 기후행동 실천학교 22개 학교, 탄소중립 프로그램 운영학교 8개 학교, 습지학교 12개 학교가 운영된다. 아울러 탄소중립실천 정책연구학교 2개교를 신규 운영해서 탄소중립 실천 교육환경 조성과 더불어 프로그램을 확산하는데 중점을 둔다. In connection with the curriculum, 22 schools for climate action, 8 schools for carbon neutral program operation, and 12 schools for wetland schools will be operated. In addition, two new carbon neutral practice policy research schools will be operated to focus on creating a carbon neutral practice educational environment and spreading programs.

Z: 지역사회와 연계해서 찾아가는 생태환경교실과 생태환경교육 체험 프로그램을 운영한다.
4개 기관과 협력해서 학생들이 환경에 대한 이해와 실천을 경험할 수 있도록 돕는다.

A: 올해는 제주에서 세계환경의 날 행사도 열리는 중요한 한해가 될 것이다. This year will be an important year in Jeju where the World Environment Day event will also be held.
Z: 6월 2일부터 5일까지 제주국제컨벤션센터에서 제54차 세계 환경의 날 기념행사가 열린다.
이와 연계해서 환경교육주간을 지정해서 운영한다. The 54th World Environment Day celebration will be held at the Jeju International Convention Center from June 2-5. In connection with this, environmental education week is designated and operated.
A: 제주도교육청이 지속가능한 생태환경교육을 강화해 나감으로써 세계의 환경허브, 제주로 거듭나겠네요. The Jeju Provincial Office of Education will be reborn as the world's environmental hub, Jeju, by strengthening sustainable ecological environment education.
