A: 협약은 어떤 내용을 담고있는가? What does the agreement contain?
Z: 두 기관은 협약을 통해서
용암해수 등 제주의 지하수 가치를 높혀 나가는데 합의했다.
그리고 제주의 지하수 가치를 산업적으로 활용하고 연구하고
탄소중립과 기후위기 대응을 위한 연구도 진행하고
제주 지질유산을 신규로 더 발굴하고 분포지도를 구축하기 위한 연구도 진행한다.
제주도의 기후를 분석해서 이를 바탕으로 미래 기후변화를 연구하고
전기차 사용후 배터리 상용화 기술에 협력해서 순환자원을 위해서 노력할 예정이다.
마지막으로 바이오산업과 관련된 산업의 지역인재를 양성하고 지원한다.
The two organizations have made an agreement
- They agreed to increase the value of Jeju's groundwater, including lava and seawater.
- And use and study the value of underground water in Jeju industrially
- And agree to work on carbon neutrality and climate crisis response
- Research is also conducted to discover more Jeju geological heritage and build a distribution map.
- Agree to analyze the climate of Jeju Island and study future climate change based on this
- Agree to plan to cooperate in battery commercialization technology after using electric vehicles and strive for circulating resources.
- Finally, it fosters and supports local talents in industries related to the bio industry.
A: 지역인재 양성은 제주의 지역대학과 연계하면 더 큰 효과가 있을 것이다.
Cultivating local talent will have a greater effect in connection with local universities in Jeju.
Z: 제주도는 제주대학교 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계 RISE를 통해서 용암해수 등 지하수 관련 전문인력 양성에 나설 계획이다.
Jeju Government plans to train professionals related to groundwater such as lava and seawater through the Jeju National University Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System / RISE.
A: 이번 협약이 단순히 지질자원 연구를 통한 바이오 산업 육성뿐 아니라, 해양 바이오 산업추진의 일환으로 진행된 것이네요.
This agreement wasn't just about fostering the bio-industry through geological resource research, but it was also part of promoting the marine bio-industry.
Z: 그렇다. 바이오산업에서도 해양바이오산업에서 용암해수 연구를 확대할 수 있는 기회이다.
제주도청은 해양바이오산업 육성을 통해서 지속가능한 발전목표를 달성해 나간다는 계획이다. 또한 미래 산업 육성의 발판을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
Yes, it is an opportunity for the bio industry to expand research on lava seawater.
The Jeju Provincial Government plans to achieve its sustainable development goals by fostering the marine bio industry. It is also expected to lay the groundwork for fostering future industries.
