마을회가 운영하는 사후면세점은 마을기금 4억원을 투입해서 준비 중이다.
3층 규모로 강정크루즈터미널 내에 주민편익시설(1195m2)에 사후면세점을 설치할 예정이다.
제주도청은 현재 해당 건물의 용도를 상업시설로 변경하는 행정절차를 진행중이다.

강정항은 민군복합항이다 보니, 관광객 편의시설이 많이 부족한 것으로 알고 있다.

강정항의 경우 20만톤 1척과 15만톤 1척 등 대형 크루즈선 2척이 동시에 접안이 가능한 시설규모를 갖추고 있다.

There are no shopping facilities near Gangjeong Port, so most of them were visiting Shilla or Lotte Duty Free located in Yeondong, Jeju
If a tax free shop is installed, it is expected to relieve the shopping demand of tourists entering the port through Gangjeong Port.
