Z: 제주의 주요정책 중 하나는 에너지 대전환 정책이다.

A: 2035년 무탄소도시를 실현하기 위해 그린수소를 중심으로 한 다양한 에너지 정책을 펼치고 있다.

Z: 그중에서도 그린수소 에너지를 활용한 트램을 도입하는 것도 검토 중이다.

Z: 수소트램 도입을 위해서 제주에서 첫 도시철도망 구축계획을 수립하고 있다.

Trams are a kind of railroad, so Jeju is building an urban rail network.
Z: 수소트램 도입을 위한 첫 단계이다.
제주에서는 최초로 철도 계획을 세우는 것이다.
한국철도기술연구원과 함께제주 도시철도망 구축계획 예비타당성 조사를 실시할 계획이다.
이번 용역은 3년간 진행된다. (2024년 7월 ~ 2027년 7월)
기획재정부의 예비타당성 조사를 통과하면 더 일찍 끝날 수도 있다.
This is the first step toward introducing hydrogen tram.
It is the first railway plan in Jeju.
It plans to conduct a preliminary feasibility study on the Jeju Urban Railroad Network Construction Plan with the Korea Railroad Research Institute.
This service will last for three years (July 2024 to July 2027)
It may end earlier if it passes a preliminary feasibility study by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.

간선급행버스 노선이 중복되는 것을 해소하고, 제주신항과 같은 새로운 인프라시설과 연계할 수 있는 추가 이용에 대한 수요를 발굴할 예정이다.

그리고 타 교통수단과의 연계성을 파악해 교통체계 구축 방향과 경제성을 분석한다.
이를 통해서 도시철도망 구축계획을 수립하는 것이다.
이번 조사를 통해서 구체적인 사업비를 산출할 예정이다.
그리고 기획재정부의 예비타당성 조사 통과할 시, 추정 사업비 4,391억원의 60%를 국비로 확보해 충당할 계획을 갖고 있다.
