A: 이렇게 지자체들이 국제학교나 외국교육기관 유치를 위해서 사활을 걸고 있는 것은 아무래도 인구증가와 지역경제성장의 효과를 영어교육도시를 통해서 보았기 때문으로 추측된다.

Z: 인구가 가장 근본적인 이유이다. 아시다시피 한국의 출생률은 바닥을 치고 있다.
인구는 지방자치단체의 소멸을 극복하고 성장 동력을 얻을 수 있는 근원이다.
따라서 각 지자체마다 국제학교 유치를 통해서 인구를 유입시키고, 이에 따른 경제성장 효과를 기대하고 있다.
Population is the most fundamental reason.
As you know, Korea's birth rate is bottoming out.
The population is the source of overcoming the extinction of local governments and gaining growth engines.
Therefore, each local government is expected to attract international schools to bring in population, and to have an economic growth effect accordingly.
