제주도의 청정가치와 첨단기술을 결합해서 식품산업을 혁신시켜 나갈 계획이다.
The Jeju Provincial Government will foster the food industry.
It plans to innovate the food industry by combining Jeju Island's clean values with advanced technologies.

A: 제주도가 청정자원을 바탕으로 푸드테크 산업을 발전시켜 나갈 것이군요.
Jeju Island will develop the food technology industry based on clean resources.

Z: 제주도는 지난달(2025년 1월) ‘제주 그린 + 푸드테크 생태계 조성 전략’을 발표했다.
이는 2035년까지의 종합발전계획이다.
Jeju announced its 'Jeju Green + Food Tech Ecosystem Creation Strategy' last month (January 2025).
This is a comprehensive development plan by 2035.

A: 제주가 식품산업을 전략산업으로 육성하기 위한 장기계획을 수립한 것이네요.
Jeju has established a long-term plan to foster the food industry as a strategic industry.

Z: 이번 전략은 제주도가 기후변화와 식량 위기에 대응하기 위함이다.
그리고 푸드산업의 지속가능한 성장 기반을 마련한다.
This strategy is for Jeju to respond to climate change and food crises.
And lay the foundation for sustainable growth in the food industry.

A: 제주지역의 식품산업에 종사하는 기업은 대부분 영세한 것으로 알고 있다.
As far as I know, most companies in the food industry in Jeju are small.

Z: 지역 식품제조업체의 90%가 10인 미만 영세업체이다.
제주의 청정자원과 국제관광도시로서의 경쟁력을 활용해서 혁신을 추구한다.
90% of local food manufacturers are small businesses with less than 10 employees. It seeks innovation by utilizing Jeju's clean resources and competitiveness as an international tourism city.

A: 제주도정의 핵심정책 중 하나는 AI 와 디지털 정책이다.
식품산업과도 연계해 나갈 계획인가요?
One of the core policies of the Jeju provincial government is AI and digital policies.
Is it planning to connect with the food industry as well?

Z: 제주도는 식품산업과 AI 디지털 대전환과 연계해서 혁신을 가속화하는 방식이다.
이를 위해서 4대 전략 12개 실행과제를 수립했다.
Jeju Island is a way to accelerate innovation in connection with the food industry and AI digital transformation.
To this end, 12 implementation tasks of four strategies were established.

A: 4개 전략에 대해서 설명해 달라.
Please explain the four strategies.


Z: 우선 제주의 청정 특화자원을 활용한 맞춤형 전략식품을 개발한다. 즉 제주의 토종 소재와 월동 작물을 활용해서 특화 제품을 만들고, 개인 건강정보에 맞춘 식단설계 기반도 구축한다. First of all, Jeju will develop customized strategic foods using Jeju's clean specialized resources. In other words, Jeju's native materials and winter crops are used to create specialized products, and the basis for diet design tailored to personal health information is also established.

A: 제주야말로 청정자원과 식재료를 많이 보유하고 있기 때문에 전략식품 개발이 가능하군요.
Jeju has a lot of clean resources and ingredients, so strategic food development is possible.

Z: 둘째는 환경친화 스마트제조 방식을 표준화한다. 이를 통해서 식품산업의 체질을 개선할 계획이다. 인공지능 자율제조공정을 도입해선 생산효율을 개선하고 신재생에너지를 활용한 친환경 가치를 더한다. Second, it standardizes environmentally friendly smart manufacturing methods.
By promoting this strategy it plans to improve the structure of the food industry.
Introducing artificial intelligence self-manufacturing processes improves production efficiency and adds eco-friendly value using renewable energy.

A: 식품 제조에 인공지능을 접목시키고, 재생에너지로 생산하니 친환경 제조식품이 되겠군요.
It will be an eco-friendly manufacturing food because it combines artificial intelligence with food manufacturing and produces it with renewable energy.

Z: 세번째로 국제관광도시의 강점을 살려서 외식산업을 혁신한다. 인공지능을 기반으로 맞춤형 관광과 식품정보 서비스를 개발한다. 먹거리 통합지원센터를 설립해서 지역의 식자재를 안정적으로 공급할 계획이다. Third, it innovates the restaurant industry by taking advantage of strengths of international tourist cities. Based on artificial intelligence, customized tourism and food information services are developed. It plans to establish an integrated food support center to supply local food materials stably.

A: 식자재 공급과 관련해서 모바일 서비스를 결합시켜 소비자 편의를 높이는 것이군요. It's to increase consumer convenience by combining mobile services in relation to the supply of food materials.

Z: 마지막으로 제주첨단과학기술단지 내에 그린 바이오 벤처캠퍼스를 조성하고 푸드테크 연구자원센터도 설립한다. 이러한 혁신 기반 시설을 조성해서 산업 생태계 경쟁력을 강화해 나갈 계획이다. 그리고 4만 평방미터 규모의 임대형 스마트농장에서는 기업의 신제품 개발을 지원한다. 덧붙여 도민과 관광객을 위한 체험형 복합 문화공간도 제공할 예정이다. Finally, the Green Bio Venture Campus will be established in the Jeju Advanced Science and Technology Complex and the Food Tech Research and Resource Center will be established. It plans to strengthen the competitiveness of the industrial ecosystem by creating such innovative infrastructure. And the 40,000 square meter rental smart farm supports companies' development of new products. In addition, it will provide an experiential complex cultural space for provincial residents and tourists.

A: 앞서 언급한 전략들을 추진함으로써 제주에는 어떤 혜택들을 가져다 주게 될까요?
What benefits will it bring to Jeju by pursuing the aforementioned strategies?

Z: 제주도내 식품산업 매출을 2배로 늘리고, 수출 규모는 10배로 확대할 계획이다. It plans to double the sales of the food industry in Jeju Island and increase the size of exports by 10 times.

A: 제주가 앞으로 만들어 나갈 청정 제주의 가치와 미래 식품산업의 새로운 패러다임이 기대된다. I look forward to the value of clean Jeju and the new paradigm of the future food industry that Jeju will make in the future.
