Z: 중앙정부차원에서 지역을 살리기 위한 RIS: Regional Innovation Strategy라는 정책이 있다.

Z: RIS: Regional Innovation Strategy는 지자체와 대학 및 지역의 혁신기관들이 모여 구축한 지역혁신플랫폼이다. 이를 통해 대학 교육체계를 개편하고, 기술개발 연구과제를 수행하고, 지역 내 취업과 창업 지원에 나서는 사업이다.
RIS: Regional Innovation Strategy is a regional innovation platform established by local governments, universities, and local innovation institutions.
Through this, it is a project to reorganize the university education system, carry out technology development research projects, and support employment and biz commencement in the region.
A: 한마디로 지방자치단체와 그 지역내 관련기관들이 합심해 지역을 활성화하는 정책이군요.
In short, it's a policy in which local governments and related organizations in the region work together to revitalize the region.
Z: 이 플랫폼은 지역인재를 양성과 취창업 지원을 통해서 궁극적으로 지역에 정주할 수 있는 선순환 생태계를 구축한다는 전략이다. 제주도의 경우 2023년 교육부에서 공모한 RIS에 선정됨에 따라서 제주대학교, 제주테크노파크 등과 함께 제주지역혁신플랫폼을 구축해서 운영하고 있다.
This platform's strategy is to build a virtuous cycle ecosystem that can eventually settle local talents in the region through training and supporting job-seeking start-ups.
In the case of Jeju Island, as it was selected for RIS held by the Ministry of Education in 2023,
it has established and operated a Jeju regional innovation platform with Jeju National University and Jeju Techno Park.

Z: 2023년 교육부의 RIS 사업에 선정된 제주의 경우 인재 양성을 위한 다양한 사업들을 추진하고 있다. 이 RIS사업에는 2024년까지 878억원(국비 615억원 포함)이 투입된다. 제주도는 청정바이오, 그린에너지와 모빌리티, 지능형서비스를 핵심분야로 선정해서 추진하고 있다.
In the case of Jeju, which was selected for the RIS project by the Ministry of Education in 2023, various projects are being promoted to cultivate talent.
87.8 mil USD (including 61.5 mil USD in state funds) will be invested in this RIS project by 2024.
Jeju Island is promoting clean bio, green energy and mobility, and intelligent services as core fields.
A: 아무래도 제주의 미래 먹거리이자, 제주에게 적합한 미래 신산업을 선정해서 중점 추진하는 것이군요.
