Z: 제주의 6대 핵심 프로젝트 중 하나였던 예래휴양형주거단지 사업은 9년째 진행을 멈춘채 방치되어 있다.  유원지로 개발되다가 좌초된 사업이다. 하지만 이 프로젝트가 도시개발 사업으로 전환되어 추진될 예정이다.
The Yerae recreational residential complex project, which was one of the six main projects in Jeju, has been stopped for nine years.
It was developed as an amusement park but it was stopped.
However, this project will be converted into an urban development project and implemented.

A: 예래휴양형주거단지 프로젝트는 제주국제자유도시개발센터의 핵심 프로젝트였다.
2015년 중단된 바 있다. 그동안 안타까웠는데 재개될 방안을 찾고 있다니 좋은 소식이네요.
The Yerae recreational residential complex project was a key project of the Jeju Free International City Development Center.   It was stopped in 2015.
It's been a shame, but it's good to hear that you're looking for a way to resume.

Z: 예래단지는 외국인투자자인 말레이시아의 버자야그룹을 유치하여 추진 중이던 사업이다.
하지만 예래단지 일부 토지 원소유주들이 단지 조성 당시에 토지를 강제로 수용한 것에 대해서 소송을 제기했다.
The Yerae Complex is a project that was being promoted by attracting a foreign investor, Malaysia's Berjaya Group.
However, some original landowners filed a lawsuit against the forced to selling the land at the time of the complex's construction.

A: 그리고 대법원 판결이 토지주들의 소송을 받아들이면서 사업이 무효가 된 것이죠.
And when the Supreme Court ruling accepted the landowners' lawsuit, the project was stopped.

Z: 제주국제자유도시개발센터는 2015년 이후 중단된 ‘휴양형 주거단지 개발사업’을 정상화하기 위하여 기본계획 수립에 착수했다.
기본계획 수립은 기존의 유원지 개발방식 대신에 도시개발로 사업 방식을 전환해서 추진한다.
그러면 도입시설과 토지 이용계획을 구체화하고, 공정률 65%에서 중단된 건물 147개동에 대한 활용 방안 모색 등 여러 가지 솔루션들을 포함시킬 예정이다.
The Jeju Free International City Development Center has begun to establish a basic plan to normalize the 'Resort-type residential complex development project', which has been suspended since 2015.
The establishment of the basic plan is promoted by changing the business method to urban development instead of the existing amusement park development method.
Then, it will include various solutions, such as specifying introduction facilities and land use plans, and finding ways to utilize 147 buildings suspended at a 65% process rate.
