Z: 제주 역사문화 기반 구축사업의 핵심은 제주역사관이다.
고대 탐라국부터 시작해서 근현대까지 제주인의 삶과 위상을 조명하는 공간으로 꾸며진다.
The core of the project to build the foundation for Jeju's history and culture is the Jeju History Museum.
It is decorated as a space that illuminates the life and status of Jeju people from the ancient Tamna-Kingdom to modern times.

A: 사업비는 어느 정도 소요될 것으로 예상되나요? How much is the project cost expected to take?

Z: 역사문화지구 조성에 310억원에서 440억원 정도 예상하고 있다.
그리고 제주역사관 건립에는 120억원에서 200억원 사이가 될 것으로 추산된다.
It is estimated to be between 31 billion won and 44 billion won for the creation of a historical and cultural district.      And it is estimated that the construction of the Jeju History Museum will be between 12 billion won and 20 billion won.

A: 제주 신산공원은 언제 조성된 공원이죠?
When was Jeju Shinsan Park established?

Z: 1952년 공원으로 지정되었다.
그리고 1988년 서울올림픽 국내 성화 도착을 기념해서 정비되었다.
그때의 모습이 현재의 모습이다.
It was designated as a park in 1952.
And it was renovated to commemorate the arrival of the Olympic torch at the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
What it was then is what it is now.

A: 이 공원의 크기는 어느정도인가요?  How big is this park?

Z: 총면적은 24만평방미터이다. 제주시민이 많이 찾는 도심 속 녹지 공간이라고 보면된다.
The total area is 240,000 square meters. It is a green space in the city that Jeju citizens visit a lot.

A: 삼성혈은 제주역사의 발상지이다. 여기에 신산공원 일대가 문화와 역사가 어우러진 공간으로 재탄생하길 기대해 본다.
Samseonghyeol is the birthplace of Jeju's history.
I hope that the whole area of Shinsan Park will be reborn as a space where culture and history are harmonized.
